What the Heck Is a Petard Anyway?
Pat Hayes over at Red State Rabble has a very good point about the Ouachita Parish Louisiana School Board's decision that:... teachers shall be permitted to help students understand, analyze, critique, and review in an objective manner the scientific strengths and weaknesses of existing scientific theories ...
But, then, as Pat says:
We trust the new policy will apply equally to those teachers who want to inform their students about the effectiveness of condoms in preventing unwanted pregnancies and the spread of sexually transmitted disease.
After all, "teach the controversy" ... right?
