Creationist Chasm

.
There has been a schism at Answers In Genesis, probably the most influential young-Earth creationist organization in America. Specifically, the American part of AiG, itself originally an Australian group known as Creation Science Foundation, has now split from the Australian, Canadian, New Zealand, and South African branches. The American group will remain AiG, while the others are now known as Creation Ministries International.

As reported at Jim Lippard's blog, the split may have something to do with muting criticism of fellow YEC star, Kent Hovind.

There is also interesting financial information from AiG's IRS Form 990S.
