Swift Justice

On the meaning of the Supreme Court decision in Hamdan v. Rumsfeld, ruling that the war on terrorism is no excuse for abandoning fair trials:

It means that we can't be scared out of who we are. And that's victory, folks. - Lt. Cmdr. Charles Swift, the appointed military attorney for Salim Ahmed Hamdan, the plaintiff in the case.

Sometimes I'm proud to be a lawyer.
